​Workshop Objectives: Emphasis on 1) outlining personal and systemic bias 2) methods that support varied lived experience 3) actionable steps that support Diversity, Equity, Access, Inclusion and Belonging.
Learning Outcomes: Learners will be aware of the biases and myths they have internalized and reinforced in schools, neighborhoods, professional organizations and social circles. They will be equipped to refine and implement strategies and instructional methods that break the cycle of oppression and foster an inclusive choral community.
